The conference seem to be improving in quality, the first workshop, held in 2002, really had only position papers often superceded by papers from the same authors submitted to more prestigious conferences. As a service to our readers, here follows discussions of some papers from WEIS 2004:
- Rescorla's Is finding security holes a good idea?
- Geer's The Economics of Shared Risk at the National Scale
- Serjantov and Anderson's On dealing with adversaries fairly
- Laurie and Clayton's ‘Proof-of-Work’ Proves Not to Work
- Weaver and Paxson's A Worst-Case Worm
